We encourage prospective authors to familiarize themselves with our editorial focus and the types of works we publish. Whether you're a debut author or an established voice, we value well-crafted writing, originality, and a clear understanding of your target audience.

What We’re Looking For

​

We currently welcome submissions in the following categories:

​

• Fiction – literary, historical, contemporary, mystery, and select historical fiction with a focus on African and Indigenous themes.

• Non-fiction – biography, memoir, history, social issues, and cultural commentary with a focus on African and Indigenous themes.

• Children’s and Young Adult – middle grade and YA novels with strong narrative voice
  (Please note that we do not accept poetry, academic dissertations, or self-published books at this time unless requested.)
